Discover the authentic Andalusia on our day trip Ronda and the White Villages!
Spectacular landscapes and impressive historical buildings await you in the highlands between the mountain ranges of the Sierra de Grazalema and the Sierra de las Nieves as well as in the most romantic city of Andalusia, Ronda em>!
Ronda is a popular destination for touristic activities in Andalusia due to its special location and the architectural sights influenced by different cultures.
The city of Ronda is located in the mountainous Serranía of the same name in the hinterland of Málaga and is located at an altitude of 723 meters above sea level. The Guadalevín river, which is located in an impressive rocky gorge below the high plateau, divides the town into two halves, which are connected by the stunning Puente Nuevo .
In addition to the imposing landscape, Ronda is one of the oldest cities in Spain with impressive buildings from various cultural and historical epochs.
The originally Moorish White Villages in the mountainous surroundings will give us a foretaste of the most romantic of all Andalusian cities on our day trip to Ronda.
Our day trip to Ronda usually starts between 8:00am and 9:00am at your pick-up location and ends at the same spot between 7:00am and 8:00pm.
Before getting to Ronda, we visit the typical white villages Zahara de la Sierra and Grazalema , which are located in the Sierra de Grazalema . There we take a short guided tour and have time to take a few nice photos and also have a bite to eat. In Zahara we´ll have a quick breakfast (that is included in the price) and in Grazalema there is time to have lunch.
Arrived in Ronda, we embark on a 40-minute sightseeing walk from the modern part of the city crossing the historical bridge Puente Nuevo to the old town, where the former palace of the Moors is located. On this walking tour you will learn more about the history of the city and the most important buildings. In addition to the bridge, the sightseeing walk brings us to the bullring, the viewpoints on top of the steep slopes of the gorge, the Moorish old town with its gardens and the Arab baths as well as other stunning buildings.
After the guided sightseeing walk you have free time for the rest of the day. Enjoy the flair of the city while strolling through the old town, having a coffee at one of the cozy squares or doing a short hike down into the gorge, from where you have an impressive panoramic view of the bridge. The leisure activities are up to you.
Between 5:00 and 5:30pm our day trip ends and we start our return trip to your drop off location in Seville.
